Keweenaw Outdoor Recreation Coalition (KORC) brings together individuals, businesses, and outdoor recreation, conservation, and community organizations to secure permanent public access to at-risk land in the Keweenaw.

Copper Harbor Trails
The mission of the Copper Harbor Trails Club (CHTC) is to advocate for, develop, and maintain trails and land for human-powered activities in and connecting to Copper Harbor.

Keweenaw Trails Club
The 2022-23 season is underway and groomers are submitting reports. Michigan Tech, Swedetown, Chassell and Maasto Hiihto/Churning Rapids participate in a joint annual membership program.

Keweenaw Snowmobile Club
The Keweenaw Snowmobile Club is a non-profit organization responsible for grooming and maintaining the 200 miles of snowmobile trails that run from the hamlet of Toivola (roughly 15 miles south of Houghton) to the very tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula at High Rock Bay.

Fort Wilkins State Park
Built in 1844, Fort Wilkins was intended to keep law and order during the Copper Rush. The fort tells the story of life on the northern frontier during the mid-1800s.The park also includes the Copper Harbor lighthouses built in 1866 and 1868. Historical interpretation, including the Living History program, is provided from mid-June through mid-August. Fort Wilkins is open daily, 8:30 a.m. to dusk, from mid-May through mid-October.

Isle Royale Queen IV
The ISLE ROYALE QUEEN IV passenger ferry operates between Copper Harbor, Michigan, and Rock Harbor at Isle Royale National Park.
